My newest freehand drawing...I used prismacolor pencils (with mineral spirits) to paint. I used charcoal on the background. It was fun to do..trying to make it look realistic.

A drawing of a random person. Everyone asks me why I draw people I don't know. I have no answer. I don't even always know why I pick the people I pick. I just know sometimes I want to draw what I see.

New drawing

I drew this on Sunday. It was mostly something to get my pencil on paper. I couldn't come up with anything to draw, so I decided to go with this picture. It turned out to be a lot of fun. She gets put into a frame after this post. :)

I finished this picture Sunday. I have her matted and framed. She is living on my work area now, Im not sure where she will end up. She is done in pencil. I am anxious to start my next one. She is also posted on http://www.flickr.com/photos/tinkbad/

I am almost ashamed to post this picture. I drew it from someone elses drawing. I never do that anymore. I will only draw from photographs now. I somehow felt that I cheated on this one (even though I find it very sexy :)

Dog

This was one of my earlier drawings. I was trying to learn to draw hair. I also discovered ways to make the nose look textured by looking online.

Lion

Everyone should draw a lion at least once I think :) Here is mine. By the time I finished all of the hair -I decided to return to drawing people.

I was obsessed drawing this picture for a couple of weeks. I loved drawing the hat and the radio. Its funny what draws me to a picture. Right now it seems to be textures.

NEW PICTURE

This is my newest drawing. I finished it last night. I am giving it to a friend at work.

LITTLE GUY PICTURE

I drew this picture last year. I was home alone when a thunderstorm hit. I was without power all day so I spent the day drawing this little guy. He was originally a picture out of a magazine. I gave him to my mom. She had him framed and matted. He proudly hangs in her living room.

Small Pic

This is my newest drawing. I finished it Saturday, July 12th. I am still struggling to find the best way to get it here. I find the colors are not the same as the original. Maybe I need a better scanner? I ended up using my camera. I used graphite, carbon and charcoal on this picture. It's my first use of carbon.

This is my first attempt at posting a drawing of mine. I didn't have much luck (scanning). I'm having trouble getting the scanned pics to look like the original. This one is one of my first drawings. It was done on cheap paper from a sketch book. It scanned much better then the others. I am going to have to experiment to get the proper size.
